Temporary Maintenance and Disable Triggers will incapacitate your application system. They are designed to be used temporarily. Take special caution to re-enable Public House.
Temporary Maintenance
When this setting is enabled, Applicants will no longer be able to access their applications. The login page will be replaced by a “Temporary Maintenance” page. Any Applicants currently logged into the system will be automatically logged out and redirected to this page.
Use this setting if you suspect issues with critical functionality and need to temporarily restrict access to the portal.
Disable Triggers
Custom Apex code in your Salesforce instance can sometimes conflict with managed package triggers, such as those from Public House. If you encounter issues deploying unmanaged or managed packages due to these conflicts, you can temporarily disable the triggers during the deployment process and re-enable them afterward.
Important: While the triggers are disabled, core Public House functionality will be impacted. To minimize disruption, schedule this process during off-peak hours when applicant activity is low, and keep the triggers disabled for the shortest possible time.
