Creating the Campaign
The screening form is the foundation of any lottery. It determines who is eligible to enter, collects any weighted criteria data for weighted lotteries, and builds your initial pool of prospects. While the detailed Screening Form support section covers every configuration option, this section highlights the key steps and differences you should consider when creating a screening form for a lottery. - Go to Campaigns and select New.
- Select Screening Campaign and click Next.
- Chose a name and set up basic information (campaign name, start and end dates, criteria).
- Click Save, the campaign page will open. You will see 2 tabs: Details and PH Screening.
Configuration for Lotteries
Click on the PH Screening tab and see the menu on the left.
Screening Form Setup
- Select your application program and screening form template.
- Set the Screening Form Type to Lottery.
- Under Lottery Screening Access, choose to make the campaign public or invitations only
- Publicly accessible: open to anyone with the link during the active period
- Invitation only Lotteries: accessible only through a direct email invitation.
- Select the Lottery priority.
- Standard: Each eligible household receives a single entry, giving everyone an equal chance with no preferences applied.
- Weighted: Households receive multiple entries based on defined weighted criteria, increasing their chances while remaining eligible even if a criterion is later removed.
If selecting a Weighted Lottery, select the Priority Template. This template must be created by Public House. Contact the support to create this template.
Title and Description
On the Titles & Descriptions page, add important dates and lottery procedure details to:
- Screening Header Title
- Screening Form Description
- Lottery Description
The rest of the configuration (Branding, Sender Email, Agreement) is the same for Lotteries or other campaigns. Refer to the Screening Form support section for more details.
Accessing Screening Form and Candidate Pool
Your Lottery set up is complete. Click on the Details tab to continue.
- Click on the link next to Go to Screening Form to check the screening form. You can see the weighted criteria at the bottom of the Screening Form. These are defined by you but set up by Public House. Contact the support if you need to amend these questions. Note that if it’s an invite only, you no longer can access the screening form. Only people with an invite can access the screening form.
- Click on the link next to Go to Candidate Pool to access the main Lottery page and manage the Lottery.
